NEROFICO - Italian Restaurant, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We began life as one extraordinary restaurant, serving delicious food cooked in a small kitchen at the back of a converted bungalow on Jalan Ceylon. Nerovivo was one of the first places in Kuala Lumpur where you could find wood-fired pizza, Prosecco and real Italians. Since then we have given Nerovivo a first class kitchen, sent pizza chefs to Italy for training, imported over 100,000 bottles of Italian wine from handpicked vineyards and brought onboard highly acclaimed chef Riccardo Ferrarotti.

We are proud that our staff are the most knowledgeable, professional and happiest in town, mainly because we take them on holiday each year. High standards, creativity and passion are all compulsory. We too, could not contain our enthusiasm for great Italian food, so in the past few years, we have opened two new fabulous restaurants, Neroteca and Nerofico, and a delicatessen, Nerodeli.

Riccardo Ferrarotti

Chef Riccardo comes from a small mountain village in northern Italy and has always been immersed in the Italian culinary world. His father, an accomplished chef, owned and ran a restaurant where Riccardo learnt his trade and developed his passion for excellent Italian cuisine. After five years training at culinary school, Chef Riccardo mastered the delicate subtleties of regional Italian cooking. His desire to innovate and seek new food experiences took him to Venice, Rome, Sardinia and Switzerland, before accepting a challenge in the United States. More recently, Chef Riccardo received a major restaurant award for his work at Al Fresco, Crowne Plaza in Dubai.

Our newest restaurant, Nerofico. brings all the best things about the Nero Group to Damansara Heights. We have created a brand new menu and designed a restaurant that is spacious and fresh. We are non-smoking inside and have a beautiful al fresco dining terrace with a lovely breeze.

We have a superb private dining room (seating for up to 32 pax), perfect for intimate dinner parties, meetings or corporate functions (smoking permitted).

Nerofico is for those who prefer to unwind in style rather than battle the traffic into the Golden Triangle.

 

Outside Catering & Private Parties

We are also able to provide outside catering for parties and functions of up to 500 people. Or you can experience Nero class in the comfort of your own home, with our executive chef Riccardo cooking for your intimate dinner party.
